Andrzej Panufnik composed his Concerto Festivo as a concerto for orchestra, dedicated to and first performed by the London Symphony Orchestra at their 75th birthday concert at London's Royal Festival Hall on 17 June 1979. Although the remainder of the concert was conducted by André Previn, the Concerto Festivo is directed to be played without a conductor, and so it was here. 1. Solenne - allegro 0:00 2.
