www.agnieszkaufniarz.com Agnieszka Ufniarz - Piano Agnieszka Ufniarz, First Prize Winner of the Dorothy MacKenzie Artist Recognition Award in New York performed in the biggest cities of Europe, North and South America, and Asia, in important concert halls such as: Carnegie Hall -- New York, Symphony Hall of Auditorio Nacional -- Madrid, Royal Theatre -- Madrid, Salle Cortot -- Paris, Museum of Art -- Tel Aviv, Theatro Municipal -- Sao Paolo, Musashino Shimin Concert Hall -- Tokyo. She appeared in concert in Brasil, Belgium, Germany, Portugal, Poland France, Luxembourg, Italy, Japan and United States. Important place in her repertoire takes chamber and contemporary music. Also in this field she was awarded special prize for the best chamber music performance at the International Piano Competition in Aomori, Japan. She has collaborated with, among others, Israel Philharmonic Quartet, Manderling Quartet, Polish Radio Chamber Orchestra "Amadeus", Concerto Cottbus, Orquestra Sinfonica Municipal de Sao Paulo, Poznan Philharmonic Orchestra and Sinfonietta Polonia, with conductors: Agnieszka Duczmal, Jose Maria Florencio, Marek Pijarowski, Zygmunt Rychert, Jacek Rogala, Nabil Shehata, Cheung Chau, and singers Tom Krause, Iwona Sobotka ,Marek Gasztecki. She has performed in festivals (F. Chopin Festival in Antonin, National Piano Festival in Slupsk, Weeks of Talents in Tarnow, "Chopin in Barbakan Festival" in Cracovie, Festival Chopiniana in Warsaw, Festival Pianistico di Roma, "Promotion of Young Musicians" in Poznan Philharmonic Hall,and gala concerts: in Madrid celebrating entrance of the new countries to the European Union Community, gala concert in Brussels celebrating 25 anniversary of the polish "Solidarnosc", and in 2006 in gala concert "For representing Poland and polish abroad" broadcasted by the TV Polonia internationally. Also she made recordings for Polish Radio, as well for the Spanish National TV After completing her studies with professor Tatiana Shebanova in Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz she continued her education in the Queen Sofia High Music School in Madrid with professor Dmitry Bashkirov, Ecole Normale de Musique A. Cortot in Paris with professor Ludmila Berlinskaya. and at the Tel Aviv University with prof. Emmanuel Krasovsky Her other teachers included prof. Claudio Martinez- Mehner, as well as chamber music with prof. Martha Gulyas and prof. Eldar Nebolsin. She have participated the master classes in Wroclaw, Duszniki Zdroj, Paris, Salzburg, Madrid, Siena and New York with famous teachers and musicians: Bruno Canino, David Dubal, Ralf Gothoni, Jacques Ghestem, Andrzej Jasinski, Emanuel Krasovsky Alicia de Larrocha, Vitaly Margulis, Jean-Luc Menet, Victor Mierzanov, Jerome Rose, Andras Shiff, Jeffrey Swann Pierre-Henri Xuereb, Vera Vaidman and Jonathan Zak and Ensemble Alternance Agnieszka won her first piano competition in the age of 8 and in the same year become one of the youngest scholarship holders of National Polish
