Descripción en Youtube:
Dr. Kevin Sedatole conducts Michigan State University Wind Symphony in performance of John Corigliano's "surround sound" masterpiece - Circus Maximus, Symphony No 3. The concert entitled "An Evening With John Corigliano" took place in April 2010 at the Great Hall of the Wharton Center on campus of Michigan State University in East Lansing. It is impossible to convey an incredible experience that this piece is - wind symphony, 11 trumpets placed around the audience, two French horns on the back of the hall, saxophone quartet and clarinet on the balcony, let alone a small marching band parading around the hall and across the stage, plus a stunning finale with firing of a shotgun! The piece is performed without breaks, we are happy to bring it to you in its entirety without interruption. In order to jump to a particular movement, please follow the links below I.
