Antarctica Echoes ~ Vangelis
Description on Youtube:
WORLD FAMOUS and enduring Vangelis (born Evangelos Odysseus Papathanassiou), is a Greek composer and performer who works almost exclusively with electronic instruments. Vangelis is probably most well know for his 'Chariots of Fire' and 'Blade Runner' soundtracks or for the tracks provided in "Cosmos: A Personal Voyage," a thirteen-part television series written by Carl Sagan that included music by Vangelis, and is my #1 favorite composer of all time. Antarctica is the soundtrack to the film 'Nankyoku Monogatari' by Koreyoshi Kurahara, released in 1983. For years, the soundtrack album was only available in Japan, popping up in other countries as a rare and expensive import, when in 1988 Polydor finally decided to release the album worldwide.
