A Czech composer and contemporary of Schubert. Tight like Mozart, harmonic like Beethoven, bridging the gap from Classical to Romantic. First musical use of term "Impromptu", used by a Viennese music critic to describe a miniature piece from 1817. He then produced a set of 6 in 1822.
