George Gershwin's Overture to his musical 'Funny Face' was played as the opening number to John Wilson's "Broadway Sound" Prom in 2012. The show was a big hit for Fred and Adele Astaire in 1927 and its Overture made a splendid start to the John Wilson Orchestra's annual Royal Albert Hall Prom Concert.
