Here I present, "Song of the Cherubim" with music by Mikhail Ippolitov-Ivanov (1859-1935). The chant is taken from his Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom, Op.37; Vespers. Sung here by the Lege Artis Chamber Choir. Accompanying photographs of "People at work" by Sergei Michailovich Prokudin-Gorski, the renowned Russian photographer taken between 1907 & 1916.
