Kozeluch - Sonata in F minor - played on fortepiano
Description on Youtube:
Leopold Kozeluch (1747-1818) was in his time as famous a composer like Haydn and Mozart. Now he is almost forgotten. But at the end of the 18th century he was one of the foremost musicians in Vienna. His keyboard sonatas are published for harpsichord or fortepiano. In these sonatas the composer uses the common Viennese classical style. I play this piece on my Dulcken fortepiano, built by Maene from Belgium. It is double strung and has a compass of 5 octaves (FF-f3). I tuned it in Vallotti temperament. This sonata has three movements: 1. Largo 2. Allegro agitato 3. Allegretto
