Like in many cities of Spain, the Virgin of El Rocío is also venerated in Triana, associated with an annual procession/pilgrimage (attracting nearly a million people from all over de country) with horses and traditional ox carts through wheatfields and pinewoods. The return is at Monday after Whit Sunday. Triana is a suburb of Seville, from which it is separated by the Guadalquivir river. Cava de los Gitanos (now the Pagés del Corro) is a street in Triana, Seville.
