Historically, the "sonata for six with trumpet" belongs to the early work of Albinoni and probably dates back to the years around 1700. Originally it is composed for two violins, two violas, basso continuo, and a natural trumpet. One of the remarkable characteristics of this sonata is the vivid and sparkling dialogue between the solo instrument, viz., the trumpet, and the other instruments in its Allegro movements. Here, the last three movements of Albinoni's sonata are performed in an arrangement (by G.Gossen) for B-trumpet and organ in the St. Michael church in Nordstemmen, Germany. The organ (II/16) was constructed in 1981 by the organ builder Fritz Weigle from Echterdingen; as a rare specialty, the organ contains a series of common stops for its "Hauptwerk" and "Pedal" that can be selected for either of both by a switch. The compatibility of its disposition with chamber music and the transparent acoustics of the church fit well with the spirit of Albinoni's sonata. In this recording (from August 2013), the movements Allegro-Grave-Allegro are played by H.Kaufhold (piccolo trumpet) and Dr. H.Hogreve (organ). Albinonis "Sonate fuer sechs (Instrumente) mit Trompete" entstand wahrscheinlich um das Jahr 1700 und gehoert damit zu seinen frueheren Werken. Urspruenglich wurde sie fuer zwei Geigen, zwei Bratschen, Basso Continuo, und Naturtrompete komponiert. Musikalisch besticht die Sonate besonders durch den lebendigen und perlenden Dialog zwischen der Solotrompete und den anderen Instrumenten. Die vorliegende Aufnahme der drei letzten Sonatensaetze entstand in der St. Michael Kirche in Nordstemmen und basiert auf einem Arrangement (von G.Gosser) fuer B-Trompete und Orgel. Die Orgel (II/16) stammt aus dem Jahr 1981 (erbaut durch Fa. Fritz Weigle, Echterdingen) und enthaelt als Besonderheit eine Reihe gemeinsamer Register fuer das Hauptwerk und Pedal, welche fuer jeweils eines dieser Werke geschaltet werden koennen. Die Disposition der Orgel sowie die transparente Akkustik der Kirche passen gut mit dem Charakter der Sonate zusammen. Die Saetze Allegro-Grave-Allegro wurden im August 2013 aufgenommen und gespielt von H.Kaufhold (Piccolo Trompete) und Dr. H.Hogreve (Orgel).
