Ntentan is an Akan dialect which literally means 'web' in Accra - Ghana. Ntetan Dance Company, have strong family ties to Ghanaian traditional dances and thus seek its preservation through performance. They see traditional dances as gifts from nature and a legacy to be passed on to posterity through performance.
Nkabom is a local dialect that means togetherness. Its a merger of five traditional music and dance forms fused into one. It is made up of 'Nwomkor', 'Kete', 'Otofo', 'Bamaya' and 'Sohu'
A 'Waka Waka' performance in Delhi by dance troupes from Seychelles, Zambia, Sudan, Ghana and Senegal at the African Festival in New Delhi. This was held on the 18th and the 19th of June 2012. African dances are well known for celebrating a zest for life and a close bond with nature. The event was held at the Kamani Auditorium Delhi!
