Allegro non troppo (25:27) For a long time, George Antheil was considered the “Bad Boy of Music” for his avantgarde style. However, this changed across the 30’s to a “modern neorromanticism”. His Symphony No. 4 “1942” belongs to this period; it is a great symphonic fresco depicting his state of mind during different episodes of WW2.
