Descripción en Youtube:
Containing touches of ragtime syncopations and Ivesian tone clusters, The Circus Band, written in 1894 -- Ives' freshman year at Yale -- is a riotous portrayal of a colorful parade in which the amateur performers get out of step. The song reminds us again of the sense of nostalgia offered in so many of Ives's works.
This song features The Lee University Chorale conducted by Dr. William Green. Accompanists, Bethanie Klob and Michael Land.
