Camerata Cantilly performs closing movement of Krommer's Partita Op. 78 in B-flat major. Master composer for wind band, Franz Krommer wrote total of cca. 40 Partitas for wind octet in which he occasionally employed contrabassoon. The Op. 78 dating from 1809 or 1810 sets high demands on the Ensemble but rewards them with some of the finest writing for the medium.
