With enthusiasm for contemporary music and a passion for chamber music, the quartet originated in the masterclasses of Laszlo Hadady and Michel Moraguès at CNSMDP. After a unanimously awarded higher diploma with honours in chamber music, the Osmose Quartet enter the final year of their chamber music course again with a unanimous vote. Besides studying at CNSMDP, the Osmose Quartet have worked with the Diastema Quartet, the Habanera Quartet and the Aurelia Saxophone Quartet, and with Jens McManama and Arno Bornkamp. Artistically they wish to extend the saxophone quartet repertoire by collaborating with composers such as Bernat Vivancos, Jean-Denis Michat, Matthew Lima, Vito Zuraj, and by using other instruments such as piano, voice and percussion to enrich their sound colour.
