Mozart's last concerto has always been one of Barenboim's hallmarks (as well as the his last 7 grand concertos) and his playing is just one of a handful of performances that can be cateregorized as first rate.(His early EMI recordings might possibly be even better!). Anotonio Pappano conducts the music with emotion and fine authority as Barenboim usually conducts himself
