From Haydn's so-called 'Russian Quartets', the 'Bird' is a delightfully characterful work, brimming with the composer's characteristic wit and charm. Super String Sunday is an annual drop-in festival of music for strings, featuring talented performers from the RCM's Strings Faculty. Taking place over several hours, audiences are invited to come and go as they please and soak up the joys of great performances like this as part of an informal Sunday of music making.
