This is a Beethoven octet conducted by graduate student Alex Hilliard. It was originally scored for 2 oboes, 2 clarinets, 2 bassoons, and 2 horns, but we are short an oboe, so we substituted a flute for the oboe 1 part.
Beethoven wrote this piece at the age of 22 for a royal celebration.
