Laudate Pueri Dominum

Bath Bach Choir performs _Laudate Pueri Dominum_ by Marianna Martines at Bath Abbey, recorded on 6 July 2024. Marianna Martines (1744–1812) was celebrated in her lifetime as a harpsichordist, singer and composer, admired by both Haydn and Mozart, who attended her musical soirées. She wrote over 200 compositions, which include religious and secular pieces for keyboard, voice and orchestra.
