A 1939 Oscar winner for Robert Donat and his touching portrayal of a shy schoolmaster, from his first day as a teacher through the whole of his career. This was directed by Sam Wood and featured a strong supporting cast which included Greer Garson, Paul Henreid, John Mills and Terry Kilburn.The wonderful music score was provided by Richard Addinsell.
